Maker's mark interpretation, please

Post by timcshep »

Am I correct that these are London marks, with a 1912 date letter? But who is the maker? Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Yes this is a London 1912 hallmark (more accurately 1912/13 as the assay year did not correspond with the calendar year). The maker's / sponsor's mark is that of Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd.
