Fork, 18th century, Amsterdam. Maker?

Post by Vantlicht »

Nice silver vork with Daniel in the lion cage at one site and abraham at the other side.
With a citymark of Amsterdam and the yearletter U. What year could it be?
Furthermore an hallmark from the maker. It looks like an heart with arrows, but I am not sure. Anybody who knows the maker?
Thanks in advance for helping me out.

Maker's mark; heart with two arrows for Michiel Boldijn, working in Amsterdam, 1721-1770, born in Amsterdam, son of Michiel Boldijn, shopkeeper and Volkertje Amelant. Michiel became a silversmith in 1721, died in 1770. The attribution is based on the similarity of his maker's mark with the coat of arms family crest Bolten; The Boldijn family also calls itself Bolt and Bolten. Year letter U for 1754.
