I have a Fox Umbrella and it may be older than i first thought.
I have googled what i can, and it may be London 1927 but i don't fully understand the hallmarks.
Is the smudged large one at the bottom representative of the Maker ?
Thanks...

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Yes, the hallmark is London, 1927, and the very worn mark below would have identified the maker (or sponsor).

Thanks. I never considered the makers name may be a sponsors name.
In other photos it could possibly be FOX, the manufacturer ?

Hi,
If your umbrella frame is marked 'Fox', then the name likely refers to the frame maker, S. Fox Ltd. Their frames, which were extremely popular, were used by many different umbrella manufacturers.
