Many thanks for taking a look at this silver mark: a Capital M with crown above. The scalloped bowl it appears on is rather large (14 inches long). The mark is on the inside of the bowl, at the center, near the top. I can't see any other marks at all on the bowl, so I am assuming it is plate. I have never seen a bowl design like this before, much less the mark. Have searched this site, but no luck. The piece was part of an estate from a family that lived in Prague and England in the late 19th/early 20th century, then moved to NYC in the 1930s.
Any tips appreciated!
