Hi, I have been trying to identify the hallmarks on this silver cigarette box for over a week without any success.
The marks that I can make out have me confused. The mark in the middle looks like a thistle, yet the mark on the right looks like some sort of Asian symbol?
I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong forum, as I am completely unsure what the country of origin is?
Any help whatsoever is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Re: Silver Cigarette Box With Unknown Marks
Hi, your image with the marks is not clear. Egypt left to right, 1.) assay office identifier- Cairo, above fineness mark = 90% silver. 2.) The Nymphaea lotus flower blossom silver hallmark, used 1946-2005.
3.) Egyptian year-date hallmark (Z) ـز used Jan.1953- Oct. 1959.
