What is the purpose of this Cooper Bros & Son Set?

Greetings
I have this 2-pc spoon and knife set by Cooper Bros & Sons in sterling silver. It looks like a mini ice cream set but how is that possible? Knife is 6-1/2" long, spoon 5-1/2" long.

A butter knife and preserve spoon to my way of thinking. Interesting that it has an Irish retailer's label and a Dublin import mark so that means that the decoration is probably a shamrock leaf.

Hi: I agree, I also found similar sets referred to as a sugar and butter knife.
