Unknown sterling maker and pattern

Post by hpidaves »

I have a sterling steak carving fork (9") with an unknown maker's mark. The mark is a circle in the middle and an outward pointing triangle on each side of the circle. The circle has what looks like the letter "A" in it, but the middle line of the "A" is missing. There are photos below.

Thanks.

That's it! Thanks. The pattern seems a bit hard to find as well.

::: I couldn't find the pattern either, sometimes I wonder if carving forks & carving knives from USA makers had a unique pattern, or a one-off pattern, I've found a few pieces of carving-related items that I could never trace back to a specific pattern. :::::::::::::

Just guessing it might be described as a Pearl (Perle) and Shell motif?
