Antique fork

Post by amena »

hi everyone
I bought this fork that I suppose is from the 18th century.

On the handle, in the upper part, there are two marks, one reads GR, the other is so worn that I can't understand what it could represent.
On the bottom, between the initials of the owner, there are two marks of the Austro-Hungarian Empire that I found on the Tardy.
One, on page 74, is described "for works exempt from taxes", the other, on page 328, has the caption 1806-1807.
Any further information would be very welcome.
Thanks for your attention

I found among my cutlery a knife with a handle almost identical to that of the fork.
Can the brand of the blade lead somewhere?
