3 pc. set of bright cut each stamped S H Kirby in first 2 images.
Who was S H Kirby? maker? seller?
along with these came the 4th piece. "Whiting Antique Lily" 1882
shown in last images to compare the similarities in the patterns.
Comments on whether Whiting copied the 3 other pieces would be welcomed as the design was obviously copied by the later piece or are the 3 pcs. early Whiting w/retailers mark?
Your opinions welcomed.
I placed this in the coin forum because the 1st 3 pcs may fit the period while the Whiting piece obviously belongs in the sterling forum.
