Unknown Mark, Lord Robert, International ?

Post by Brett »

I have researched and think I found the pattern to be Lord Robert, but unable to identify the maker. Could anyone please help?

Not sure, but it looks similar to a mark used by the Meriden Britannia Company.

Thanks Pat,

I asked someone at a silver shop on the internet, and they said that this hallmark is an old International hallmark. Your thoughts?

After the Meriden Britannia Company became part of International Silver in 1898 IS continued to use the Meriden Britannia marks until the 1930's.
