Would like info on Lambert + Rawlings

Post by postcool1 »

I recently purchased a coffee pot made by Lambert & Rawlings, Coventry Street, London. It is 10 1/2 tall, 9" wide, and weighs 34.2 ounces. There is what I think is a maker's mark on the base that is WM.

Can anyone give me any more information on this item or this maker?
The internet has not produced a lot of information on this.

l do have a lot of info on Lambert and Rawlings, but l am a bit confused by the makers mark of WM, Lambert and Rawlings (basic history) were Retail jewellers and Siversmiths, as far as l can work out Lambert was a Silversmith and Rawlings was his manager who he took into partnership circa 1819 renaming the company Lambert & Rawlings, l think the maker is someone else and it has been stamped with the retailers name.

What dates is this item ?

Regards

Nigel
