What-is-it Question LXVII.

Another item from a typical North Indian household. It's height is around 7". What is it?

Looking at it, it looks like it is pierced and has a lock hasp. The only thing I can think of is maybe a container for an expensive aromatic spice?

sorry for the delay. I was down with a bad flu.

It is a 'Khaasdaan'. Please refer to the seventh post at http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8840" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which is by me, to learn more about it. Not all of these are pierced, as the piercing here only serves aesthetic and design elements of the object.

Never would have guessed, got the spice part right, so give me a 30% correct at least.
