New Dutch Assay Marks

Post by salmoned »

I recently purchased an item with the marks - Dutch Lion 'II', Head 'M', small 'g', with <*HH*> elsewhere on the piece. Although I cannot find a listing of date letters for this series (1960-1984), I have deduced this item was marked in Schoonhoven, 1966, maker Hendrik Hooijkaas. Can anyone confirm my conclusions? Thank you

While I'm at it, perhaps the maker for photo C on the Dutch page may be Helweg & Zoon, Wed.H., Amsterdam 1913 - 1930 [a shot in the dark]
