| Likely the Garratt Fitzgerald of Limerick apprenticed to the Dublin silversmith, William Townsend in 1760. He applied for the Freedom of the Dublin Goldsmiths Company, but was refused for failing to complete the full seven year term. Working in Limerick in 1768, deceased, 1780.

| Listed in the 1769 Limerick Directory as O'Halloran. Retired in 1786 and died in 1804. Seemingly a long retirement for the period, but O'Halloran was a wealthy man from a prominent family.
